Vaccines as they relate to the African Diaspora

When Africans were brought over to the “New World”, they brought along with them their vast knowledge of herbs and vaccines. Although they were considered folk and root doctors, their medical practices were superior to that of their white counterparts. Africans found that if young children were inoculated with the infectious disease. Then they would become resistant to the disease later in life.
